Ice water hash, also known as bubble hash or ice hash, is a type of cannabis concentrate that is made by separating the trichomes (resin glands) from the plant material using ice water and agitation.
To make ice water hash, cannabis flower or trim is first soaked in ice-cold water to freeze the trichomes and make them brittle. The material is then agitated, either by hand or with the help of a machine, to break off the trichomes from the plant material. This agitation causes the trichomes to detach and sink to the bottom of the water, while the plant material floats on top.

The trichomes that pass through the screens or filter bags are collected, dried, and then pressed into a solid or left in a powdery form, depending on personal preference.
